Creative Marketing Manager, Mexico & Colombia

| THE CREATIVE MARKETING TEAM

Creative Marketing is responsible for building title-level brands and creative for our slate of locally produced series and films. We work closely with content, show/film productions, talent, photographers, directors, and creative agencies to develop world-class creative assets that fuel our marketing efforts.

| THE ROLE

The Creative Marketing Manager will be part of the Netflix Marketing team based in our Mexico City office. This team leads the development of marketing assets for a selection of our Mexican and Colombian series and films. This role involves working on the creative concept, positioning, and visual identity of our shows. You will be the creative decision-maker responsible for the branding of our locally produced titles.

The job requires close collaboration with various internal departments—PR, Content, Product, Consumer Insights, Production, and Social—and external partners, including showrunners, filmmakers, talent, production houses, and creative agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the marketing positioning for a selection of our Mexican and Colombian series and films, creating exceptional and highly crafted creative assets to promote these shows to diverse audiences.

  • Manage the creation of promotional AV and artwork for these shows, including title teasers, trailers, logos, and key visuals.

  • Constantly nurture and grow a network of agencies and partners with a focus on creative excellence.

  • Brief agencies, editors, photographers, and designers to deliver stunning creative materials that communicate the positioning of our shows.

  • Collaborate with a team of producers responsible for managing shoots, production, adaptations, localization, and delivery of promotional materials.

  • Build and maintain trusted partnerships with showrunners, production houses, and internal content executives.

  • Act as an internal ambassador for our Mexican and Colombian series and films, keeping informed and sharing relevant updates with various internal teams.

  • Organize scope, budget, and campaign resources in a fast-changing dynamic environment.

Experience & Skills

  • Over 8 years of marketing, strategic planning, or creative experience, preferably at an entertainment company, creative agency, or content production house.

  • Proven track record of delivering high-profile assets with exceptional craft and design.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience working with a diverse range of creative partners—agencies, photographers, filmmakers, etc.

  • Experience managing a high volume of projects in parallel while collaborating with diverse, geographically dispersed teams.

  • Relevant knowledge to guide external and internal partners in the production of video, artwork, digital, and social asset types while understanding the fundamentals of production, localization, budgeting, and project management.

  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
