The Role

The ideal candidate will join the PR team in Mexico responsible for innovative launch campaigns for titles from a wide range of genres (series, film, reality, docs) as well as corporate/brand narratives.

About the Role

We are looking to hire a creative self-starter who loves, lives, and breathes entertainment, to be a Publicity Specialist. Based in Mexico City, reporting to the Publicity Senior Manager, you will support a team of stunning storytellers who develop impactful publicity campaigns to drive the conversation for upcoming series and film titles. The role requires excellent cross-functional relationships, and the ability to build and maintain strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders across talent, showrunners, partners, executives, and the press. Being a support role, we expect outstanding attention to detail and the ability to coordinate complex logical needs across talent relations, events, and press engagement. The Specialist will be responsible for administrative tasks that range from budgeting to the management of talent agendas, but will also support the operation of press junkets, premieres, and industry and fan events, among others. This is a demanding and fast-moving role that requires someone who has a positive attitude and is able to exercise good judgment, take initiative, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as point of contact to coordinate with cross-functional partners (content, production management, marketing, etc)

  • Manage logistics for talent relations (agendas, purchase orders, transportation, travel, budgets)

  • Assist and/or initiate written campaign materials for press and/or talent/creators

  • Help coordinate press activities (junket, set visits, press conferences, etc.)

  • Update and maintain various publicity-related tools, databases, and trackers

The successful candidate will:

  • Having 5-8 years of experience in PR, entertainment industry experience is a plus

  • Fluency & strong communication skills in English and Spanish, both verbal and written

  • Have solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under a deadline

  • Thrive in a very high-energy, fast-paced environment.

  • Have experience managing spreadsheets at an advanced level.

  • Have excellent verbal and written skills. Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with internal and external teams.
