At Mollie, we’re on a mission to make payments and money management effortless for every business in Europe.

We started 20 years ago by launching a more direct, affordable way for companies to get paid — an alternative to the frustrating, overpriced solutions that banks offered at the time.

Today, we serve more than 250,000 businesses across Europe with an all-in-one solution that simplifies payments and money management. Our team of 850+ product, finance, support, commerce, and engineering specialists operates across Europe – from Lisbon to London.

Your Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Onboarding team, where you’ll play a central role in shaping the very first experience customers have with Mollie. As the entry point into our platform, onboarding is more than just a process—it’s our opportunity to set the tone for long-term customer success.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with our operations teams to ensure service levels (SLAs and SLOs) are consistently met, while identifying opportunities to increase automation and streamline the onboarding journey. By turning data into insights, you’ll help us make the onboarding experience as seamless and efficient as possible.

Our analysts enjoy a high degree of freedom in how they approach challenges—creativity and problem-solving are not just encouraged but expected. You’ll be trusted to find innovative ways of working with data, developing solutions that both improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

Working at the intersection of data, operations, and product, you’ll have the chance to directly impact how thousands of new customers experience Mollie for the very first time.

What You’ll Do

  • Data modeling: Transform data from different sources into clean, robust, efficient, and easy-to-use data models based on stakeholders' analytical needs. Define and add new event data to the existing models;

  • Productivity system points for CDD analysts: Maintain and update the productivity system points used for CDD analyst bonuses;

  • Reporting on key metrics: Create and maintain dashboards to track team KPIs.

  • Workload forecasting: Forecast CDD workload to manage the number of analysts needed to keep the team adhering to its SLAs and SLOs.

  • Ad hoc analysis: Support the team with opportunity size and impact analyses.

What You Bring

  • Proven fluency in SQL (BigQuery) with hands-on experience in analytics and data exploration

  • Strong foundation in version control (Git) and data modelling (dbt)

  • Skilled in forecasting, dashboarding, and building decision-driving insights

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams

  • Detail-oriented problem solver with a structured approach to complex challenges

Nice to Have

  • Experience sizing business opportunities and scoping potential impact

  • Proficiency in Python, R, or another programming language for advanced analysis

  • Background in operations or product teams, with cross-functional collaboration experience
