Mollie is looking for an ambitious (junior) Pricing Manager, who wants to develop their expertise in payments pricing. You don't shy away from learning new things every day and taking responsibility for various projects and operational work.

Your opportunity

As part of the Pricing team within the GTM Optimisation Domain, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing different pricing projects which support the development of pricing strategies to drive further growth accelerations on top and bottom-line. You will work on strategic pricing activities and challenge the status quo, while also being closely involved in daily operations on e.g. deal pricing and our pricing tool.

What will you'll be doing

  • Support development of a new pricing tool to automate our process and add more intelligence by leveraging big data

  • Deal pricing:
    - Supporting the sales teams with new deals and repricing of existing customers
    - Monitoring and analyzing new live customers profitability and review existing deals

  • Implementing a winning pricing strategy for Mollie:
    - Implementing a pricing strategy across markets and products

    - Challenging the status quo and continuously optimizing our pricing proposition

  • Design and coordinate different pricing projects with a data driven approach:
    - Profitability optimization projects
    - Pricing process optimization projects

  • Building pricing capabilities across the different teams. In close collaboration with our sales enablement team, you will train the sales and customer success teams on pricing strategy, tips and tricks for landing large deals while safeguarding margin

  • Work closely together in an expert role with other departments in the business, such as our payment partners team and finance team

What you'll bring

  • 2+ years of proven relevant B2B pricing experience; experience in fintech or consultancy preferred

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or comparable

  • Experience in implementing and improving pricing tools and pricing processes, including change management

  • Analytical and data driven mindset: you are comfortable with large datasets and modelling and base all of your decisions on a solid fact-based foundation

  • True team player that can level with junior and senior stakeholders in an international environment and with demonstrable skills in project management & execution

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment - you bring a bias for action and can-do mentality!
