About the Role
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will play a critical role in expanding Miro’s footprint by landing net new customers and driving expansion within our strategic customers. This role is designed for sales professionals who excel in a fast-paced, consultative selling environment and have a passion for helping dynamic companies unlock their potential with Miro. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle and take ownership of developing and advancing your pipeline.
What you’ll do
- Strategic Account Planning: Identify, prioritize, and develop a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts. Build and execute long-term account plans to drive sustainable growth, expansion, and executive engagement across your territory.
- Executive Engagement: Establish and nurture trusted relationships with C-level and senior decision-makers. Act as a strategic advisor by aligning Miro’s platform with customers’ business transformation priorities and enterprise initiatives.
- Complex Deal Management: Drive large, multi-threaded opportunities from discovery to close, managing long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, procurement processes, and governance requirements.
- Enterprise Value Selling: Deeply understand organizational challenges, workflows, and strategic objectives. Articulate Miro’s enterprise value proposition, demonstrating measurable business outcomes, ROI, and scalable use cases across functions.
- Account Expansion & Growth: Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, driving cross-sell, upsell, and enterprise-wide adoption to maximize customer lifetime value.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead a virtual account team including Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Partners to deliver coordinated account strategies and ensure long-term customer success and retention.
- Territory & Business Ownership: Own and grow a defined strategic territory in France, focusing on predictable revenue, large deal execution, and building sustainable enterprise presence for Miro.
- Market & Industry Insight: Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and digital collaboration transformation initiatives to position Miro as a strategic enterprise platform.
What you’ll need
- 6+ years in a SaaS or technology sales environment, including experience in full-cycle closing roles. Proven track record managing enterprise or strategic accounts and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.
- Strong account planning and prospecting capabilities, excellent executive-level communication, and proficiency in consultative and value-based selling techniques, including business case and ROI articulation
- Familiarity with enterprise sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, and Slack; experience leveraging data to drive account strategy and pipeline visibility
- A results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership of territory and accounts, and the ability to operate with autonomy in a dynamic environmen
- Experience managing longer and more complex sales cycles, balancing strategic account development with pipeline generation and expansion opportunities.
- Eagerness to continuously deepen industry knowledge, understand customer business challenges, and grow both technical and commercial expertise.
- A strong team player who excels at leading cross-functional account teams (Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Partners) to drive long-term customer success and revenue growth
- Fluency in French and in English
