About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist with strong knowledge, or a solid base understanding, of Armenian payroll to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and validating payroll in Armsoft for Armenia, while also supporting the payroll transition from Armsoft to ADP Celergo. • Collaborate closely with the People Ops team to capture payroll changes such as new hires, transfers, promotions, pay rate changes, and other adjustments
  • Maintain payroll processing systems and records by gathering, validating, and inputting data with accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with Armenian statutory requirements for payroll calculations, deductions, filings, and reporting
  • Provide reports to internal stakeholders (e.g., Accounting, Finance) and support audits as needed
  • Maintain internal payroll documentation, ensuring processes are updated and clearly detailed
  • Address employee inquiries in a clear, timely, and employee-centric manner, escalating as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to payroll system enhancements
  • Support the broader global payroll team, providing coverage and assistance on international payrolls where needed, especially during the ADP Celergo implementation

What you’ll need

  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in Payroll or a comparable role
  • Hands-on experience with Armsoft is highly preferred; experience with ADP Celergo is a strong plus
  • Strong knowledge or base understanding of Armenian payroll regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, data validation, etc.)
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to payroll
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn, with a drive to understand processes and identify improvements
  • Experience supporting payroll in an international environment is a plus
  • Fluency in Armenian and English (written and spoken) is required

What's in it for you

  • Competitive equity package
  • Health insurance for you and your family
  • Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks provided in the office
