About the Team

Miro’s Sales Development team is a key part of our go-to-market strategy, helping us identify, engage, and convert future power users and high-potential customers. As we expand deeper into the startup space, we’re launching a specialized team focused on Digital Native (DN) companies — fast-moving startups and scaleups — that are reshaping industries and adopting collaborative tools early in their journey.
This SDR role will be essential in identifying and igniting growth in this segment — collaborating closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Product teams to win hearts and mindshare early.

As a Digital Native SDR, you’ll be at the forefront of Miro’s growth in the startup world. Your mission is to uncover the next wave of innovative companies, engage them early, and introduce them to the power of Miro.
You’ll be responsible for building pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting, multi-threading into key stakeholders, and delivering qualified opportunities to the Digital Native Account Executive (AE) team. This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape how we engage startups from day one — and make a lasting impact on Miro’s growth in this strategic segment.

What you’ll do

  • Prospect into early-stage startups and high-growth scaleups across key global hubs
  • Generate 20–30 qualified pipeline opportunities per quarter to fuel AE success in the Digital Native segment
  • Build strong relationships with founders, product leaders, and early go-to-market teams by deeply understanding their needs
  • Leverage outbound strategies (email, phone, LinkedIn, video, etc.) and product signals to initiate interest and spark conversations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with AEs, Marketing, and Product to refine messaging and uncover new opportunity spaces
  • Use tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and Sales Navigator to manage activity, forecast pipeline, and improve lead quality
  • Act as a startup ecosystem connector: keep your pulse on trends, communities, and emerging tech to surface net-new opportunities
  • Share insights from the field with internal teams to influence how we engage startups through PLG and sales-led motions

What you’ll need

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, preferably in a high-growth tech or SaaS environment.
  • Strong prospecting skills and a love for outbound engagement.
  • A genuine passion for the startup ecosystem — you're curious about how early-stage companies grow and build.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to earn trust quickly across personas.
  • Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, Sales Navigator; experience with PLG environments is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working with some ambiguity.
  • Ability to collaborate with AEs and cross-functional teams in a high-ownership, low-ego environment.
  • Fluency in English is required, any additional language (like Dutch or French for example) is a plus!
