About the Team

We are looking for our Head of Solutions Engineering AMER & APAC at Miro. The team’s mission is to be customer-facing technical leaders representing the Miro brand by articulating business value and applying thought and practical leadership to drive customer solution wins.

About the Role

In this role, you will lead our Solutions Engineering teams in the US and APAC. The Head of Solutions Engineering leads and mentors first-line managers of Solutions Engineers (SEs) while partnering with sales to deliver on revenue results actively involved and sponsoring the top deals of the region. Additionally, they collaborate closely with SE Org leadership to drive effective practices and ensure the success of the SE team.

The ideal candidate will have experience and an interest in managing the business ecosystem for AMER and APAC customers, experience handling complex accounts, and technical/domain knowledge. You will accelerate new logo and expansion sales cycles and serve as a Miro thought leader. You will serve as an important link between the Go-To-Market and the Product/Engineering parts of the company and will be a key partner to Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams in shaping how our customers use the product and how our product evolves with the customers’ needs.

This role reports to the Global Head of Solutions Engineering.

What you'll do

  • Build, coach, and manage teams of Solutions Engineers in AMER and APAC
  • Partner with the Sales Leader and other functions to accelerate sales cycles, grow deals, and align on strategy, driving field prioritization and sales/product escalations
  • Partner with product leadership to drive innovation bringing in field feedback
  • Personally work with our largest customers (10K+ employee size) to establish executive relationships
  • Participate in formulating key strategic decisions as a part of the Solutions Engineering leadership team
  • Contribute to key Company-level OKRs and initiatives
What you need
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a second-line leader of Solutions Engineering. 8+ years in Solutions Engineering with 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes and the ability to effectively partner with sales teams.
  • Technical expertise in the relevant domain, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. (AWS Certification a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet targets in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in the APAC is desirable.
