The Role:
The Minted Merchandising team is responsible for driving sales across our various categories, including art, wedding, holiday, baby & kids and gifts. We work closely with our talented community of artists and makers, as well as data from our analytics team, to bring forth fresh, balanced assortments to inspire our customers. Those products are then manufactured by Minted and/or offered through our new third-party marketplace - a curated collection of makers and sellers in the categories of wedding, art and home decor, shipping to Minted customers directly from their studios.
As a Merchandising Associate, you will support the daily operational functions of Minted’s merchandising team, specifically for our third-party marketplace. You will learn to develop cross functionally with a number of key internal partners (including Business Development, Marketing, Artist Relations, and Customer Service), and you will have the opportunity to present to members of the C Suite.

You Will:
- Source new sellers and artisans for our third-party marketplace, with the strategic guidance of the category merchant.
- Manage external seller communications throughout recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day operations.
- Maintain clear and compelling seller onboarding guides, continually evolving them as we receive seller feedback and update processes.
- Review all third-party products prior to launch, coaching sellers on how to present products on our site and ensuring descriptions and images meet Minted brand standards.
- Maintain third-party merchandise data, including basic product information, filter assignments, search tags, and related products.
- Assist with the online merchandising of the third-party marketplace categories including filters, SKU organization and ranking, and optimizing the overall “shoppability” of assortments.
- Remain flexible as team priorities and processes shift.
- Build positive relationships with cross functional partners.
- Consistently provide all relevant and requested information in a timely manner, keep partners informed and anticipate needs/ questions, as well as risks to timelines.
- Exhibit an understanding of your role in the business and how it relates to teammate’s responsibilities.
You Are:

- A shopper or collector. You have strong natural retail insights and an understanding of how and why consumers use Minted products, informed by a personal interest in shopping or collecting design or fashion goods. You have a strong personal passion for Minted’s categories of products.
- Passionate about design and how it defines product strategy. Design or retail experience or internship is a plus.
- Results-driven, focused, and analytical. Outstanding follow-up, organization, and time management skills.
- Excited to work in a collaborative team environment and are motivated to ask questions.
You Have:
- Proficient skills in Google Sheets and/or Excel
- A love for design; however this is not a design role
- A love of process, documentation, and organization
- A rudimentary understanding of financial retail measurements and how to impact them
- The ability to analyze a problem, use data to articulate a recommendation, and take action accordingly.
- Experience in e-commerce marketplace and/or seller/vendor relationship management a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An ability to multitask, organize and problem solve to meet deadlines
- An attention to details that results in flawless execution
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Curiosity, asks questions, probes for clarity and understanding
Compensation:
The compensation range for the role applies to both employment offers and Minted employees actively working in the role. Our employment offers fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range to allow for continued salary growth during your employment at Minted. The upper half of the range accommodates this growth and supports our intention to create an environment that encourages lasting relationships between Minted and our employees.
Geo Base Full Salary Range 0 - Includes SF Bay Area $58,000 - $87,000 (Midpoint $72,500)
