We are looking for a Marketing Associate - Social & Content (Bahasa Malaysia) to join our team in Malaysia. You’ll be responsible for managing Klook’s overarching content and social media strategy in the market, to drive engagement and conversions on our web and app platforms. You must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have strong writing and communication skills.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute an always-on content and social marketing plan across owned channels including blog and social networks.

  • Optimise content through working knowledge of SEO and performance marketing efforts with the aim of acquiring high quality traffic and conversions.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to devise a content and social strategy that aligns with the company’s wider goals and campaign objectives.

  • Create, curate and manage content for the blog and social channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Klook LIVE (Klook’s in-app livestream function) to increase brand awareness and conversion rates.

  • Track and evaluate the impact of social and content initiatives in meeting targets and objectives, as well as reporting on the results and optimise for future campaigns.

  • Identify and drive best-in-class, high-impact partnerships with content creators, publishers and communities to grow Klook’s presence and customer acquisition.

  • Research on customer and product trends, and identify new opportunities to drive traffic and user growth.

  • Manage KOLs to expand reach and engage new audiences.

  • Executing special projects with the team to elevate branding and drive traffic.

What you will need:

  • Excellent command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both verbal and written communication.

  • An idea generator and problem solver with a good understanding of the Malaysia social media, overall media landscape, travel space and technicalities including content production and proven solutions.

  • Strong time and project management skills, with attention to detail and understanding of how e-commerce works.

  • Knowledge in search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) is a plus.

  • A passion for travel and the ability to share quality experiences and “insider” travel tips through useful content creation.

  • A start-up attitude - highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude. that’s not afraid to work independently when required.
