What you will do As an Incident Response Manager on Klarna's incident response team, you will lead incident-related initiatives and improvement projects within a fast-moving banking and financial services environment. You will bring structure, planning, and disciplined execution to incident response activities, ensuring clear communication, coordinated stakeholder engagement, and timely resolution during high-impact situations. Beyond live incidents, you will own the follow-up work that turns disruption into improvement — driving root cause analysis, remediation planning, and the delivery of preventive measures that strengthen Klarna's operational resilience over time. You will work closely with technical teams, domain owners, and senior stakeholders to keep incident-related workstreams moving, closing loops rather than letting action items stall. This position includes participation in a compensated on-call rotation and calls for calm, structured decision-making under pressure, particularly when priorities shift quickly and information is incomplete.
