Role Overview
The Senior Implementation Project Manager serves as the lead project manager for Kipu's most complex, high-visibility, and strategically significant enterprise implementations. You will ownproject governance, risk management, and cross-functional coordination for multi-product, \multi-site engagements involving senior client stakeholders. This role also contributes to methodology development, mentors other Project Managers, and supports pre-sales scoping for enterprise deals.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Project Governance
- Define and manage project scope, governance frameworks, and implementation schedules for Kipu's most complex enterprise engagements.
- Establish executive-level governance checkpoints including steering committees, readiness reviews, and milestone validations.
- Manage risk logs actively, driving risks and action items to resolution with clear owners and timelines.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Serve as the primary project lead for enterprise implementations, managing relationships with C-level and VP-level client stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, risks, and decisions to internal and external stakeholders at all levels with clarity and confidence.
- Lead structured executive-level meetings with clear agendas, documented outcomes, and confirmed next steps.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate activities across Implementation Specialists, Solutions Architects, Success,
- Support, Sales, and Product teams for multi-product engagements.
- Ensure handoffs between teams are planned, documented, and aligned before clientfacing transitions.
- Hold project team members accountable for deliverables and timelines without direct authority.
Methodology & Mentorship
• Contribute to the evolution of Kipu's enterprise implementation methodology, governance practices, and operational cadences.
• Mentor other Implementation Project Managers through knowledge sharing, project reviews, and direct coaching.
• Support pre-sales to implementation transitions for enterprise deals by ensuring readiness and alignment.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
• Identify project risks early and develop mitigation and contingency strategies for highcomplexity scenarios.
• Escalate complex or high-risk scenarios with context and a recommended path forward.
• Drive process improvement initiatives in alignment with department and company objectives.
Qualifications
Required
• 3-5 years experience in behavioral health, mental health, or healthcare technology.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-product, or multi-site enterprise implementations.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and executive presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage C-level client relationships and complex organizational dynamics.
Preferred
• PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP certification
• Experience mentoring project managers or contributing to PM methodology development.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Jira, Salesforce, or similar project management and CRM tools.
• Experience managing implementations with governance or steering committee structures.
