Job Description
The Sales Specialist – RCM plays a key role in driving growth for Kipu’s Revenue Cycle Management solution
across both existing clients and new logo pursuits. This quota-carrying role focuses on supporting Account
Executives (AEs) in identifying, developing, and closing RCM opportunities, as well as proactively engaging with
Kipu’s customer base to expand adoption and usage.
As an RCM Sales Specialist, you’ll team-sell alongside AEs, leverage marketing events and targeted outreach to
build pipeline, and act as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients seeking to optimize their billing and
collections processes. You’ll bring deep RCM expertise to discovery conversations, demonstrate the solution in
a way that highlights efficiency and effectiveness drivers, and help clients envision improved workflows and
measurable revenue impact.
Role & Responsibilities
• Drive RCM Revenue Attainment
Own and deliver on assigned RCM sales targets through direct selling and by partnering with Account
Executives across defined territories.
• Support Base Expansion and New Logo Growth
Collaborate with AEs to identify and advance RCM opportunities within Kipu’s existing customer base,
while contributing to new logo pursuits through team selling and solution positioning.
• Pipeline Generation
Proactively call into assigned accounts and engage in marketing campaigns, webinars, and industry
events to create new RCM pipeline opportunities.
• Demonstrate the RCM Solution
Deliver compelling demonstrations of Kipu’s RCM solution that showcase measurable outcomes,
highlight efficiency and effectiveness drivers, and connect directly to client workflows and challenges.
• Consultative Discovery & Workflow Analysis
Lead customer conversations to uncover and document existing billing workflows, pain points, and
desired improvements. Translate these insights into tailored value propositions and solution
recommendations.
• Solution Expertise
Serve as a subject matter expert on Kipu’s RCM solution, effectively articulating its value proposition in
improving revenue integrity, reducing denials, and accelerating cash flow.
• Partner Collaboration
Work cross-functionally with Product, Implementation, and Customer Success teams to ensure client
expectations are aligned and handoffs are seamless.• Field Enablement and Feedback Loop
Capture client and market insights to inform Kipu’s RCM roadmap and support Sales Enablement
efforts with feedback, tools, and success stories.
Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
• Proven success selling or supporting healthcare RCM or billing solutions
• Strong business acumen and ability to discuss revenue cycle outcomes with financial and operational
leaders
• Experience collaborating with Account Executives and working within defined sales processes
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable generating and advancing pipeline through outbound and event-driven activities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
Experience
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare technology sales, revenue cycle management, or billing operations
• Experience leading client discovery sessions and delivering solution demonstrations
• Experience working in or supporting the Behavioral Health industry is a plus
• Familiarity with AveaOffice, Kipu EMR, or other behavioral health billing platforms considered an asset
