Summary
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior FP&A Analyst to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will be a trusted partner to business leaders across the organization, supporting strategic data-driven decision making. You will partner closely with department heads and senior leadership to ensure our business decisions, investments, and headcount planning align with company goals. You’ll have experience in SaaS and are eager to embrace AI and automation to optimize financial planning processes, enhance forecasting accuracy, and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, and long-range planning efforts with a focus on operational scalability.
- Lead headcount and capacity planning, including forecasting, scenario modeling, and variance analysis across departments.
- Leverage strong soft skills to collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Recruiting, and department leaders to align hiring plans with budget and strategic priorities.
- Partner with accounting team in reviewing and understanding financial close results such as budget to actual variances.
- Maintain and improve financial models that integrate data with business metrics to drive decision-making.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track actuals vs. plan, identifying key drivers and providing actionable insights.
- Provide finance business partnership to functional leaders, enabling better decision-making through financial insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A or strategic finance, preferably with at least 2 years in a SaaS or technology-driven company.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, headcount planning, workforce analytics.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with FP&A tools such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or Workday Adaptive Planning a plus.
- Advanced Excel, with strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, etc.).
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience implementing or optimizing headcount planning processes.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
