In this multifaceted role, you will oversee the management of our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), deliver actionable insights through workforce analytics, and provide expertise in compensation benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices. This position is critical in optimizing HR technology, supporting data-driven decision-making, and aligning compensation strategies with business goals.

Role Responsibilities
People Analytics
- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights related to workforce planning, retention, engagement, DEI, and performance.
- Develop dashboards and reports for leadership to monitor key HR metrics (e.g., turnover rate, time-to-fill roles, employee satisfaction).
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations that align with business objectives.
- Conduct predictive analytics to forecast workforce needs and assess the impact of HR initiatives.
- Support semi-annual processes such as compensation reviews, headcount planning, and talent reviews by providing relevant data insights.
Compensation Analysis
- Conduct market research to benchmark compensation practices against industry standards using tools such as salary surveys or compensation databases.
- Analyze internal pay equity across roles to ensure fair and consistent compensation practices.
- Provide recommendations for salary ranges, incentive structures, and total rewards packages based on market trends and company goals.
- Support the development of job descriptions by aligning roles with appropriate salary grades or pay bands.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance during annual merit review cycles by providing data-driven insights into salary adjustments or bonus allocations.
HRIS Management, Compliance & Process Improvement
- Serve as the primary administrator for the company's HRIS platform(s), ensuring data accuracy, system optimization, and user support.
- Configure and maintain system workflows, permissions, reporting structures, and integrations with other platforms (e.g., payroll, benefits, ATS).
- Troubleshoot system issues and work with vendors to resolve technical problems.
- Lead system upgrades, implementations, and enhancements by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Ensure all HR systems comply with legal requirements related to employee data security and reporting.
- Continuously evaluate existing HR processes and identify opportunities for automation or improvement using technology.
- Collaborate with the HR team to streamline workflows across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation reviews, and other areas.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in compensation or people analytics roles; experience in HRIS administration is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights.
- Knowledge of compensation strategies and incentive programs.
- Knowledge of compensation benchmarking tools (e.g., PayScale, Radford) is preferred.
- Excellent project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in SaaS or fast-paced tech environments.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or payroll systems integration.
- Certification in HRIS platforms or analytics tools (e.g., SHRM-SCP/CP or Tableau certification).
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification is a plus.
