Job Description

Kipu is looking for an experienced Engineer to join our Enterprise team. You’ll be joining a dynamic, exceptional team to make huge impacts in a fun, exciting company with significant growth potential. Our engineers are developing the next generation of EMR technologies, putting Kipu at the forefront of addiction treatment with the systems required to assist in all aspects of care.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing applications to automate internal business processes
  • Translating complex requirements on Medication management and dispensing and other enterprise processes into easy-to-use solutions
  • Develop background tasks/workers to automate business workflows
  • Integrate with third-party tools via APIs
  • Working throughout the full stack

Qualifications:

  • 4 to 6 years of professional software development experience
  • 1+ years of professional Ruby on Rails software development experience
  • Ruby, RAILS, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, HTML, CSS
  • Postgres, Redis, RabbitMQ
  • Experience with API's (Rest, GraphQL)
  • Integration experience with skills in HL7, FHIR, X12
  • Proficient with scripting languages, specifically Python and Bash.
  • Experience with databases (relational, NoSQL)
  • Knowledge of AWS services
  • Polyglot programming is a plus
  • Demonstratable ability to mentor and guide other engineers
  • An open mind and great work ethic
  • Bachelor's in computer science, Information Technology, or related degree
