Job Description: Account Development Manager
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Development Manager to join our team. This role is critical in managing and enhancing the sales process, fostering strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Process Management:
- Partner with the Account Executive in the sales process from initial contact through deal closure.
- Identify opportunities, close deals, and ensure profitability while achieving sales targets.
- Nurture the relationship from initial contracting through the onboarding process and help prepare the customer for implementation
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and best practices in customer service.
- Ensure all customers receive exceptional service and support.
- Account Planning:
- Create and execute account planning strategies.
- Understand the business landscape and tailor approaches to different market segments.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
- Leverage CRM tools to manage accounts, maintain up-to-date contact information, and generate insightful reports.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with sales, operations, and development teams to develop innovative sales strategies and applications.
- Foster cross-departmental communication and collaboration to meet shared goals.
- Reporting and Metrics:
- Manage daily activities using detailed reports to track key performance indicators
- Market Research and Opportunity Identification:
- Conduct thorough research on accounts and market trends.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Experience with CRM platforms and proficiency in generating reports.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Collaborative and proactive team player.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, sales, or a similar role selling Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
