Job Description

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Collaborate with Growth Marketers and Channel Leads on growth channels to develop measurement frameworks, drive new user acquisition, onboarding, renewals through deep dive analysis, experimentation, model development (attribution, cost curves).
  • Work on channel optimization of company acquisition and strategy to drive renewals and identify the value of investments from a conversion and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) efficiency perspective.
  • Develop measurement frameworks and self-serve performance analyses dashboards for online and offline growth channels.
  • Develop channel attribution, build algorithms to predict lifetime value (LTV), predictive, segmentation, and cost optimization models.
  • Lead growth channel experimentation, including developing and evaluating hypotheses for channel optimization and efficiency, and incrementality testing.
  • Build out an in-house A/B testing platform and explore vendor options to facilitate automated experimentation.
  • Develop, validate and implement descriptive and predictive models using statistical and machine learning algorithms.
  • Liaise with Data Engineers to build growth data models and ensure accurate ingestion and transformation of large datasets.
  • Mentor junior data scientists.
  • Identify/explain root causes of business performance and work with Growth leadership team and channel owners to develop actions to accelerate growth.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence/visualization tools (such as Tableau, Mode Analytics, or Looker), Query-based analysis/data analytics, Analytical software tools (such as SQL), data quality assurance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics or related and three (3) years of experience as a Data Scientist or related.
  • Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and five (5) years of progressive experience as a Data Scientist or related.
  • Three (3) years of experience must include utilizing Business Intelligence/visualization tools (such as Tableau, Mode Analytics, or Looker), Query-based analysis/data analytics, Analytical software tools (such as SQL), data quality assurance.

Compensation

This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $194,834 to $229,824.
