About the Role
As a Lead Design Talent Partner at Hinge Health, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our design organization by leading full-cycle recruiting for high-impact design roles. You will partner closely with design leadership, product management, engineering, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs, drive talent strategy, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. This is a highly visible, strategic role where your expertise in design recruiting, market mapping, and stakeholder management will directly influence the growth and success of our design teams. What You'll Accomplish
- Consistently deliver high-quality design hires: you successfully identify, engage, and secure outstanding design talent for critical roles across CareHub, Consumer App, Treatment Experience, Growth, Enrollment, Design Systems, and AI & Communications, meeting or exceeding hiring targets and timelines.
- Demonstrate exceptional sourcing and talent mapping: you will proactively build and maintain robust pipelines of top-tier design candidates through creative sourcing strategies, direct outreach, and talent market mapping, ensuring access to both active and passive talent.
- Foster a balanced and inclusive hiring process: You’ll ensure that hiring practices and candidate slates reflect a wide range of perspectives and experiences, supporting a culture of inclusion and balanced team composition.
- Deliver an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience. You’ll provide a seamless, transparent, and inspiring experience for both candidates and hiring partners, resulting in high satisfaction scores and strong offer acceptance rates.
- Partner strategically with design leadership: You’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers and the Head of Design to understand evolving team needs, advise on talent strategy, and contribute to workforce planning and employer branding initiatives.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Manage recruiting strategy across a full function or business unit.
Lead complex hiring plans and introduce operational changes.
Support hiring managers (HMs) and People partners with headcount forecasting and prioritization.Frequently represent Talent Acquisition (TA) in cross-functional initiatives
Lead cross-functional programs or TA-wide initiatives.Mentor peers and drive organization-wide talent initiatives beyond the immediate team.
Facilitate manager education or change management.Work comfortably in highly ambiguous and evolving situations.
Drive clarity where direction is missing and establish frameworks independently.
Solve complex problems without frequent oversight and coach others on sorting signals from noise.
Hinge Health Hybrid Model
We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 3 years focused on design or creative roles.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment.
- Proficiency with ATS, CRM, and sourcing tools (e.g., iCims, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Ashby).
- Strong analytical skills with experience using recruiting data to drive decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of design talent markets, compensation trends, and portfolio evaluation.
- Track record of driving hiring initiatives and building balanced pipelines.
- Experience with talent intelligence.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or influence cross-functional projects and process improvements.
- Experience mentoring or training other recruiters or coordinators.
- Passion for Hinge Health’s mission and values.
Compensation
This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $148,000-$222,000.
