Join us! GoFundMe is looking for a dedicated Software Engineering Fellow to join our Emerging Talent Program. This application will allow you to be considered for a frontend, backend & native mobile role.
This program runs from May 2027 - August 2027 and is based in Buenos Aires, with fellows (young professionals) expected onsite three days per week.
The Job….
- Collaborate with a team of engineers, product management and external partners to identify and implement improvements and new features for the GoFundMe Platform.
- Deliver code that is well-documented, tested, and operable.
- Contribute to the growth of the organization by looking for opportunities to improve efficiency, processes and productivity.
- Take ownership over the completion and quality of your tasks and project while incorporating guidance from your mentor, manager, and peers.
- Take part in the team’s agile development processes, completing user stories and other tasks that enter the team’s sprint.
- Contribute solutions to our frontend applications in React, JavaScript, and Typescript.
- Work in our Jest frontend unit testing framework
You…
- Experience in a 4-year Computer Science degree program, bootcamp, or relevant work experience elsewhere in the industry.
- Comfortable writing code, with experience in languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and/or JavaScript preferred.
- Familiarity with TypeScript and React.
- Comfortable writing mobile-focused code, with a preference for experience in iOS and/or Android development.
- For iOS: experience with SwiftUI, Swift, and Combine; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
- For Android: experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and GraphQL is a plus.
- Ability to understand product requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies; experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git and Bitbucket.
- Comfortable working in a remote and distributed environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
What would be awesome to have (Preferred):
- Familiarity with Next.js
- Familiarity with PHP and Laravel
- Familiarity with different state management technologies
- Experience with Module Federation and Micro Frontends
- Experience with PCI compliance and eCommerce platforms

The annual U.S. salary range for this full-time position is $X - $X, [Include for sales roles only: which may include potential sales incentive payments. In addition to this wage, there are geolocation differentials that will increase pay depending on the work location.
