How you’ll demonstrate Ownership
- Review employee expense reports for accuracy, receipt documentation, and policy compliance.
- Verify invoices for GST compliance and eligibility for input tax credit (ITC).
- Identify and flag duplicate claims, non-compliant expenses, and suspicious transactions.
- Reconcile corporate credit card statements with submitted expense reports.
- Follow up with employees for missing receipts and unresolved transactions.
- Coordinate with banks to resolve disputed charges and card-related issues.
- Manage end-to-end expense workflows in Netsuite and Expensify.
- Prepare monthly reports on spending trends, compliance issues, and policy violations.
- Support month-end closing activities related to Travel & Expense (T&E) accruals.
- Maintain financial accuracy and strengthen internal expense management processes.
The Impact you bring to Cognite
- Strong understanding of Indian GST requirements and commercial invoice validation.
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Experience with ERP and expense management systems, preferably Netsuite and Expensify.
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies quickly.
- Strong integrity and accountability in handling financial data.
- Ability to communicate firmly yet professionally with employees and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on improving financial controls and processes.
- 6-10 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Audit, or Expense Management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
