The Staffing Associate / Manager will help ensure efficient and optimal resource allocation across global projects. This role involves a blend of resource planning, data-driven staffing analysis, and the automation of staffing processes.The Global Staffing Associate / Manager will support the Staffing Director and collaborate with cross-functional teams, to meet the growing needs of the business, maximize resource utilization, and ensure that the right people are deployed to the right projects at the right time.You will be responsible for Staffing Data, data cleaning and up keep (feeding our metrics and Kpis) making sure they are up to date at all times.
A typical day as a Cogniter will contain the following tasks & responsibilities
- Help oversee global Staffing: Oversee the staffing needs for global delivery projects, ensuring optimal resource utilization and allocation.
- Collaborate with Leadership: Work with project managers, delivery leads, and department heads to help forecast staffing needs based on project pipelines and strategic business objectives.
- Help adoption and implementation of automated staffing systems to streamline resource allocation.
- Keep all data related to staffing and capacity up to date
- Manage allocation, gantt charts and make sure all information is properly entered at all times in our systems
- Track and analyze resource utilization across teams, projects, and geographies, ensuring efficient use of internal resources.
- Stakeholder Communication: Together with the Staffing & Operations Director regularly communicate staffing insights, challenges, and recommendations to leadership, including project timelines, risks, and resource gaps.
- Internal Talent Pool: Manage and maintain a global database of internal talent, ensuring an accurate and up-to-date view of staff availability
- Make sure hours are entered accurately and timely
- Manage contracts and extensions of staff-augmented resources and partners
- Onboard and train resources to hour-tracking

Key Success Factors
- Resource Utilization: Percentage of staff engaged in billable projects.
- Staffing Efficiency: Time to fill staffing requests and percentage of projects staffed within target timelines.
- Forecast Accuracy: Alignment between forecasted and actual staffing needs.
- Automation Efficiency: Reduction in manual staffing activities through the use of automation tools.
We believe most of these should match your experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in resource management, staffing, or operations, preferably within a SaaS or IT services delivery/consulting environment.
- Proven track record of managing global teams and resources across multiple projects.
- Technical Skills:Experience with automated staffing tools Proficiency in using project management and reporting tools
- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, with advanced knowledge of Excel or similar analytics tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance project needs and resource availability.
