We're building for the next 100 years and as part of this growth, we are actively building out our finance function in Ireland to support Clions in EMEA. We are currently seeking a Junior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team at our Dublin HQ. This role supports the EMEA region while working closely with Clio’s North American Finance Operations team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency across all AP processes. We are distributed by design, and the successful candidate will have the ability to work in a hybrid environment with 2 anchor days in office and 3 work from home days per week.

What You’ll Work On:
As a Junior Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll be a key member of our high-performing EMEA Finance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and the integrity of our accounts payable processes. Manage, approve, and send the money!
Process Ownership: Support the entire accounts payable cycle end to end. This includes creation and maintenance of vendor records, processing invoices and employee expense reports accurately, and coordinating with various departments to ensure all invoices are properly approved.
Monitoring the AP Inbox: scanning supporting documentation as necessary and triaging and responding to both internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Payment and Reconciliation: Prepare weekly payment runs (wire, EFT, ACH, SEPA, BAC, etc.), and reconcile vendor statements to identify discrepancies. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
Credit Cards: Perform bi-monthly credit card reconciliations, by working with stakeholders across the Company to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and proper documentation of all charges incurred.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as an on-the-ground point of contact for AP activities within EMEA, ensuring professionalism and consistency in every interaction.
Accounting Support: Assist with month-end closing activities for EMEA, including accruals, prepaids, journal entries and AP reporting.
Other Ad Hoc Duties: Support the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks, projects and process improvement initiatives. Things move quickly at Clio, we buy companies, implement new technology, and scale teams rapidly. We need your skills to help us do it all.
What You May Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in an Accounting/Finance related field.
1-2 years of experience with full-cycle Accounts Payable.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Ridiculous attention to detail.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience working in a high-volume AP environment.
Strong work ethic, energetic, and a positive attitude.
Serious Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience with ERP systems (Coupa/Concur/NetSuite).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience in a SaaS/Technology multi entity environment.
An accounting qualification (part qualified or studying).

The expected salary range* for this role is €41,700 to €49,000 to €56,300 EUR. There are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.*Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio. For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
