Summary:
We are currently seeking a Director of Compensation to join our Revenue Operations team. This role is open to candidates across Canada and the U.S.
What your team does:
Revenue Operations drives growth by supporting our revenue-generating and revenue-retaining teams. We are working closely with Channel, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Channel, Customer Enablement and Customer Support to provide insights and recommendations, improve the efficiency of the GTM motions, and enable GTM teams to be innovative and self-sufficient.

We are looking for someone interested in playing a critical role in compensation planning to support Sales and CS comp plan design. You will be surrounded by a talented group of high-performing individuals, seasoned in SaaS and driven by collective success. You’ll work with our leadership in Channel, Sales, CS, Finance, Marketing, and to drive quarterly compensation effectiveness reviews, and operational excellence in North America, EMEA, and APAC.
What you’ll work on:
Lead and maintain the GTM compensation and rewards strategy and process.
Lead evaluation and implementation of compensation and commission solution for Sales and CS teams.
Provide expertise on all critical compensation programs and processes such as monthly quota and attainment review cycle, performance management, compensation guidelines.
Develop and deliver compensation training and education programs for managers and individual contributors.
Create policy and program documentation to educate quota-carrying employees about Clio’s compensation philosophy.
Lead and support market-based compensation analysis, annual compensation benchmarking, and market research review process.
Enable self-service and automation wherever possible.
Develop compensation models and conduct statistical analysis.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, analyze, and implement data-driven decisions about compensation and spiff structure.
Manage the compensation team of 2 analysts and provide guidance, coaching and development opportunities.
Partner with payroll, finance, legal, sales, and CS stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely data management and reporting.
Working with the RevOps, Finance and Go-to-Market teams, prepare communications related to sales incentive administration guidelines, timelines, program intent and payout appeals.
What you may have:
5+ years of experience in compensation, Revenue Operations, or analytics within a technology or SaaS environment.
Experience evaluating, implementing, and operating compensation and commission solutions such as Forma.ai, CaptivateIQ, Spiff, or Everstage.
Hands-on experience designing and operating Sales and Customer Success compensation programs.
Advanced Excel skills and experience querying datasets using SQL, SAQL, or SOQL.
Strong analytical capabilities, including compensation modeling and statistical analysis.
Experience connecting multiple data sources and building dashboards using tools such as CRMA, Looker, Tableau, or Google Sheets.
Proven ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Experience managing and developing team members, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style.
Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including executive-ready presentations.
High attention to detail, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive compensation data.
Ability to manage ambiguity, balance multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Action-oriented mindset with strong judgment, accountability, and decision-making skills.

The expected salary range* for this role is $172,800 to $216,000 to $259,200 USD. There are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency. In addition, this role is eligible for variable pay that is based on company performance, with actual payout amounts calculated and paid on a quarterly basis.*Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio. For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
