The Team:

The Marketing and Insight Analyst will be part of the Marketing Analytics and Insight team. This team is part of the marketing operation, and works in close partnership with cross functional teams including the broader go-to-market organization, marketing and sales organizations. As the engine and oil of our marketing machine, driving efficiency, optimization and smooth operations.

The Role:

The Marketing and Insight Analyst is responsible for analyzing marketing data, generating insights, and supporting the development of data-driven strategies. This role involves working closely with the marketing team to understand business needs, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations that improve marketing performance and customer engagement.

The work you’ll do:

  • Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of marketing data by maintaining databases and data systems. Work with IT and data teams to improve data collection and analysis processes.
  • Data Integration: Work closely with data engineers and IT teams to ensure the seamless integration of data sources into visualization tools. Develop processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) that support visualization needs.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data from various marketing channels (digital, social, email, CRM, etc.) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Utilize statistical methods to derive insights that enhance marketing strategies.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Develop, maintain, and distribute reports and dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and ROI. Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Insight Generation: Generate insights that inform marketing strategies, including customer segmentation, campaign targeting, and product positioning. Provide recommendations based on data analysis to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Campaign Performance: Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, providing data-driven feedback to enhance effectiveness. Work with the marketing team to adjust strategies based on performance insights.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate marketing tactics. Provide insights on the impact of different strategies on customer engagement and conversion.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and finance, to ensure marketing strategies align with broader business goals. Facilitate the integration of insights into overall business strategies.

The qualifications you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems).
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data management best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
