The Role
CCC's Financial Intelligence team is hiring an Analyst. This team builds the reporting, data, and systems layer that Finance and executive leadership run on including dashboards, Board & IR materials, and finance process automation. This is a role for someone analytical and driven who wants to understand how a large SaaS business works. You will see revenue, expense, headcount, and operations across every segment of the company. You will work with Finance, Accounting, and Operations leadership regularly.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop working fluency in our finance and data stack: Workday, Adaptive Planning, Essbase, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric
Maintain and improve the reports and dashboards used by Finance, executive leadership, including data quality and dimension governance across our financial systems
Perform ad-hoc corporate analysis for senior leadership; investigate the question behind the question, get to an answer, and explain it clearly
Support the preparation of Monthly Operating Review, Board reporting, and investor relations materials through data analysis and visualization
Identify and reconcile inconsistencies across source systems and recommend structural fixes rather than one-time patches
Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and Operations to find manual processes and automate them, reducing cycle time and error rates
Build reusable tools, queries, and documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline. We do not require a specific major. Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, and Business Analytics are all common backgrounds here
0–3 years of experience in an analytical role. Strong candidates come from finance, consulting, operations, data analytics, or business intelligence
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large, imperfect datasets
Ability to read a P&L and reason about what drives the numbers. Deep accounting knowledge is not required
Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain an analysis to someone who did not do it
SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau exposure is a plus, not a requirement
Experience with Workday, Adaptive Planning, Essbase, or similar enterprise finance systems is a plus, not a requirement
What We're Looking For
Logical and structured thinking with comfortability in ambiguous questions and asks.
A critical thinker who questions all outputs and how a number came to be.
A strong drive and individual ownership
Interest in how a business operates end to end
Why This Role
Most entry-level finance roles give you one slice of the company. This one gives you the whole picture - every segment, every cost center, the revenue model, and the systems underneath all of it. You will have team members mentor you directly on the day-to-day, on a team with direct visibility to the CFO. The people who do this well develop a rare combination: they understand the business and they can build the tools that run it.
