The Role
Our CCC FP&A team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team! In this role, you will support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for the Product and Technology organization. This role partners closely with Product, Engineering, and Finance leadership to deliver accurate financial insights, improve reporting transparency, and support investment decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with leadership to validate trends and incorporate updated assumptions into the detailed annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
Provide, review and analyze information as part of the monthly close cycle.
Prepare variance analysis of monthly results vs. prior year, budget and monthly forecast; month by month trends, etc.
Develop efficient, effective operating reports on key drivers of business and company performance.
Analyze financial data, draw conclusions and present recommendations on decisions and actions.
Update and provide improvements to financial models.
Assist in building business cases for new product initiatives, including ROI, payback, and sensitivity analysis.
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to align financial assumptions with roadmap and delivery timelines.
Support capitalization accounting by tracking eligible development costs.
Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvement recommendations.
Requirements:
B.S. in Business field (e.g., Finance, Accounting)
4 + years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience
Experience with technology/IT/SaaS company preferred
Understanding of accounting and financial theory
Experience with monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, as well as ad hoc analysis
Experience with financial modelling, both payroll and non-payroll
Experience with FP&A tools (Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) and data visualization tools highly desired (Power BI/Tableau)
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
High level of intellectual curiosity, with ability to explain variances in terms of business drivers
CPA or MBA a plus, but not required
