The Role
We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient Senior Manager of End User Technology to lead the delivery and optimization of the end user experience across the organization. This role oversees a cross-functional IT team and is responsible for the secure, efficient, and modern operation of systems that support communication, collaboration, identity, and device management—while ensuring alignment with InfoSec standards and enterprise architecture goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a diverse IT team across key disciplines including:
- Identity & Access Management: Active Directory, Okta, Microsoft Entra
- Unified Communications: Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online
- Endpoint Management: Jamf, Apple Business Manager (ABM), Microsoft Intune
- Storage & Collaboration: File Shares, SharePoint, OneDrive
- Printing Solutions: UniFlow, Papercut
- Telecom: Zoom Phone, Microsoft Teams DR
- Enterprise Tools: Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM)
- Serve as an operational enforcer of InfoSec policies, ensuring compliance with governance, access control, and secure configurations across the end user tech stack.
- Drive enterprise-wide technology modernization initiatives, including:
- Cloud platform migrations for scalability and availability
- Infrastructure redesign
- Tech stack consolidation to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency
- Lead incident response as a designated incident commander for high-impact events, overseeing communication, remediation, and postmortem analysis.
- Champion service management transformation while improving response workflows.
- Architect and implement complex system integrations, improving data flow between Salesforce, Workday, Active Directory, Jira, JSM, Oracle, and legacy systems.
- Collaborate in IT budgeting, including lifecycle planning, DevOps investments, and staff development.
- Partner with internal AI and innovation teams to develop governance frameworks, agent models, and data access standards that support responsible AI implementation.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience with 3+ years in a leadership or senior management role
- Deep technical knowledge of end user technologies, SaaS platforms, and enterprise IT operations
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams and complex enterprise projects
- Strong understanding of security best practices, compliance standards, and identity architecture
- Experience with AV/telecom systems and enterprise collaboration platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, lead vendor negotiations, and drive cost savings
- Excellent problem-solving, incident management, and stakeholder communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s or certifications like ITIL, PMP, or Microsoft/AWS certifications a plus)
