$78,059.00 - $120,000.00

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer with a focus on Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) deployment and integration into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud security, automation, and DevSecOps practices. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure our cloud environments are secure, compliant, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and operationalize CNAPP tooling (i.e. Wiz) to secure cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
• Integrate security tools and processes into CI/CD pipelines to automate security checks and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to implement best practices for cloud security.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of our cloud environment and shepherd remediation actions
• Make recommendations on policies that can be implemented to enhance security posture
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts in a timely manner.
• Stay current with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on cloud security practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Deep understanding of CNAPP concepts and technologies (CSPM, CIEM, CWP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and the ability to automate security controls in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Good understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Hands on experience working with network security and endpoint security products & technologies
• Experience with scripting and query languages (i.e. Python, PowerShell, Rego, KQL, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

• Relevant industry certifications, such as CCSP, CISSP, or vendor-specific cloud security certifications.
