The Role

If so, we want to hear from you!We are seeking an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Human Resources team. This role will report to the Director of Human Resources.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the growing and cutting-edge Products and Technology (P&T) organization. You will provide consultative support on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from employee engagement to performance management and employee relations. You will play a key role in aligning HR initiatives with business goals and driving strategic people programs.

We are looking for candidates in the Chicagoland area who can work a hybrid schedule (2 days in the office/3 remote).
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and managers across the P&T organization, becoming a trusted advisor to the business, as well as other cross-functional teams.
- Influencing and Coaching: Partner with the business to influence and coach leaders on decision-making
- Talent Strategy: Partner with the Director, Human Resources to develop and implement talent strategies that support operational goals and drive business success
- HR Generalist Support: Assist with day-to-day inquiries on people-related requests.
- Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees to resolve conflicts and improve workplace dynamics.
- Performance Management: Support the performance review process by providing guidance on goal setting, performance feedback, and development plans.
- Compensation and Benefits: Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Employee Engagement: Analyze employee engagement survey data to make recommendations and help implement strategies to enhance employee engagement
- Data Analysis: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and provide insights into workforce trends.
- Workday: Execute HR processes within Workday (i.e., employee transfers, manager changes, leave, offer letters, promotions, terminations, etc.)
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate on continuous improvement efforts within the HR function to enhance existing and/or develop new HR programs and processes that ensure scalable solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience in an HR function, or a Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business
- Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, including talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with all levels of personnel
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (preferably Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
