About the Role:
As an Automation Maintenance Technician you will be at the frontlines of Capsule’s mission to build a better, nicer, kinder, and smarter pharmacy. You will be responsible for executing proactive and scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and carrying out repairs within our automated pharmacy fulfillment center. You will enable high levels of system uptime and drive peak performance of all automated systems. Specifically, you may:
- Analyze, maintain, and repair industrial equipment: mechanical systems (refrigeration equipment, conveyance, bottling machinery, robotics, and power generation equipment), pneumatic systems (diverters, holdbacks, and compressors), and sensory systems (optical sensors, RFID, precision scales, and interfaces).
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance work.
- Manage inventory and secure storage of spare parts and tools as per protocol.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, downtime events, and repairs. Report status of new and ongoing issues to management.
- Help ensure other base building systems are operational and work well (minor plumbing, electrical, 5S, security systems, access, egress, etc).

Requirements:
- Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Documents, Gmail)
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience in automated facilities (fulfillment, pharmacy, manufacturing, food and beverage, etc.) is a plus
- Able to analyze, troubleshoot and repair electrical components including but not limited to interface devices, relays, time delay circuits, fuses, solenoids, sensors, and motors.
- Familiar with maintenance and repair (appliance service, automotive repair, industrial maintenance, small engine, etc)
- Able to read and interpret engineered diagrams and schematics
- Able to lift/carry up to 50lbs unassisted
- Able to stand/walk throughout the duration of your shift
- Must have availability to work within listed schedules, ideally starting within the next two weeks; Back Half Daytime hours: Thurs-Sat, 8am - 8pm
