Team Introduction The Intelligent Creation Team is the middle stage of ByteDance's creative scene business. It empowers creation with AI and is committed to lowering the creative threshold through AI technology, and empowering the intelligent upgrade of visual content production and creation. The team deeply supports multiple business lines such as Douyin, CapCut, Doubao, and Commercialization, and continues to deeply cultivate multiple business scenarios such as picture and video generation, intelligent editing, digital people, and special effects. Through AI-driven intelligent tools and algorithms, it provides users with a smarter, more convenient, and richer creative experience, helping ordinary users easily achieve high-quality content creation. At the same time, it provides strong technical support for professional creators to promote the prosperity and innovation of the content ecosystem. Summer Start Dates: May 11th, 2026 May 18th, 2026 May 26th, 2026 June 8th, 2026 June 22nd, 2026 Responsibilities: - Independently responsible for the quality system construction of large-scale visual algorithm services/platforms, including mobile end, server-level algorithm effects, and performance benchmarks. - Drive test strategy and deliverables for a large and complex system. You will lead the execution of test cases through both automated and manual tests. - Own the quality reporting, defects diagnostic, features, and software release sign-off. - Actively contribute to process improvement in the team and across teams. You have the opportunity to innovate and invent new test approaches or propose improvements to our existing processes and automation system to improve the team's velocity and efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline Able to commit to working for 12 weeks in 2026. - Experience in testing server/Client on common platforms; - Proficient in at least one of the common languages, including Python, Java, Go, etc; - Proficient in troubleshooting, QA process, quality management tools, and methodologies. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in Computer Vision algorithm evaluation or quality assurance, preferably algorithm development. - Demonstrable manual and automated test experience.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $35- $35.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
