About the Team: The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is TikTok’s commercial engine, responsible for driving revenue by enabling the success of our global Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Strategic Partnerships functions. The GBS Global Functions team supports critical functions such as Marketing Science and Business Marketing teams, and more. As TikTok continues to grow across the APAC region, we are seeking a dedicated HR Business Partner to enable talent effectiveness, support workforce strategies, and scale our people programs for impact. About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and agile HR Business Partner to join the GBS HR team and support across the APAC region. This is an individual contributor role for someone who is collaborative, pragmatic, and passionate about enabling high-performing, inclusive teams. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic business acumen, organizational development expertise, and regional HR knowledge to drive people strategies aligned with GBS’s business priorities. Specifically, you will: - Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders across GBS in APAC, translating business objectives into actionable people plans. - Drive organizational health by supporting initiatives in workforce planning, team effectiveness, and succession planning. - Partner with leaders and CoEs (e.g., Talent Acquisition, L&D, Compensation, D&I) to shape hiring plans, build onboarding programs, and support career development initiatives. - Navigate employee relations concerns and performance matters with empathy, professionalism, and in partnership with Legal and ER teams as needed. - Support org design and structural planning discussions, leveraging data and local market insights. - Guide cyclical HR processes, including performance management, engagement, calibrations, and promotions with rigor and consistency. - Monitor and use talent metrics to diagnose trends, identify opportunities, and recommend HR interventions to improve retention, morale, and productivity. - Champion a culture of feedback, accountability, and collaboration within your client groups. - Lead and participate in regional and global HR initiatives that drive alignment and scale. - RTO: To foster strong collaboration and support cross-functional work, this role follows a hybrid work model with a minimum of 4 days in-office per week (or as directed by your team/manager).

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - 3+ years of HRBP experience in a global tech company, supporting Sales, Marketing, or other commercial teams across 5+ countries in APAC or other regions. - Prior experience supporting and working in a tech business environment. - 1+ experience supporting sales or commercial teams as a Human Resources Business Partner. - Proven experience leading HR projects for 200+ employees, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development to performance & incentives. - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Psychology is required. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in technology, media, or digital advertising industries. - Prior experience supporting Global Functions or Commercial teams across multiple APAC countries - Proficiency in HR systems (e.g., Workday) and talent analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Excel, Power BI). - Strong change management (and project) leadership skills, with a data-driven and pragmatic mindset.
