Responsibilities
About The Team The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. Responsibilities： 1. Contribute local market expertise into business from a finance perspective, with sound knowledge of local banking products and solutions, local regulatory requirements for funds management, etc; 2. Responsible to interface with local partners as local treasurer/finance responsible, esp. Fund safeguarding and financial reporting; 3. Supervise cash management daily operations for global payment businesses in Thailand; 4. Manage bank account strategy by optimizing the account structure to support treasury business growth in Thailand, as well as supervising the bank account daily operation; 5. Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to satisfy the regulatory requirements such as safeguarding or other compliance indicators for business in Thailand; 6. Develop and improve SOP for fund management daily operations to meet requirements for internal control, audit and regulatory compliance; 7. Provide fund solutions to support Global Payment business in Thailand, including acquiring, e-commerce, wallet/account service, lending, BNPL, etc
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Economics and Accounting areas; - Possess Thailand CPA qualification; - 5+ years of experience with exposure to Thailand treasury management or customer fund management in the payments industry - Proven working experience in financial institutions, leading payment companies or large MNC in treasury and financial management; - Familiar with the procedures of fund management operations, esp. local safeguarding, from both corporate and bank perspectives, and knowledge of payment and fintech business; - Familiar with the fund settlement and clearing system in major countries and knowledge of central banks' clearing rules and regulatory requirements; Preferred qualifications: - Quick learner and strong analysis skills; - Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with banking partners in Thailand is highly desirable.
