Responsibilities
The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. Responsibilities: Drive Payment Business growth within ByteDance ecosystem by leveraging internal business and assets as well as partners' investments, through marketing initiatives. The role will initiate, lead and own the end-to-end marketing strategy and initiatives for payment channels, run marketing promotions, campaigns, and communication for various payment methods like e-wallets, credit cards, and bank transfers, supporting all ByteDance businesses in Indonesia. 1. End-to-End Campaign Management - Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote payment methods and drive adoption. - Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to create compelling offers, seasonal promotions, and user engagement activities. - Coordinate campaign timelines, creative assets, and media plans to ensure smooth execution and alignment with business goals. 2. Promotion Strategy & Optimization - Develop strategic promotions to support new payment product launches, platform partnerships, and merchant acquisitions. - Analyze promotion performance, ROI, and user engagement to refine strategy and increase effectiveness. - Manage promotional budgets and ensure efficient allocation based on user segments and market performance. 3. Communication & Content Development - Craft clear, engaging, and on-brand messaging for user communication (push notifications, in-app banners, social media, email, etc.) related to payment features, promotions, and campaigns. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor messaging and adapt communications for diverse markets and audiences. - Ensure consistent tone of voice and value proposition across all channels. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Customer Experience teams to align on campaign mechanics, targeting, and user flow. - Collaborate with regional Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure promotions are aligned with regulations and brand standards. 5. Insights & Reporting - Monitor key marketing and payment metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness. - Conduct post-campaign analysis and provide actionable insights to optimize future activities. - Stay on top of industry trends, competitor campaigns, and user behavior.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, campaign management, or product growth roles, preferably in the fast-paced industry of financial services, payments, or digital platforms industry. - Proven experience in driving user adoption through promotions, campaigns, and targeted communications. - Strong strategic and creative thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing plans. - Highly data-driven with the ability to analyze campaign performance, user behavior, and marketing funnel metrics to optimize effectiveness. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders. - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. - Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding campaign KPIs and business targets. Preferred Qualifications: - Proficient in problem-solving and comfortable working with ambiguity to develop innovative, scalable solutions. - Ability to lead initiatives independently while also contributing as a team player in a collaborative environment. - Excellent documentation, presentation, communication, organizational, and analytical skills, particularly implemented in a cross-functional environment. - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
