Responsibilities
In line with Bytedance's globalization plans, there has been an increasing demand for payment services and financial services such as BNPL to: (1) enhance and support our current business needs; and (2) increase our service offerings to the end user. As such, the need for payment services has gradually increased in our overseas business development strategy. Whether it's paying money to creators/users to encourage user growth, or offering paid services to users, payments have become an important step in our integrated service offerings. In order to facilitate and provide such services, Global Payments ("GP") was set up. GP is supported by a group of payments licensed entities which are subsidiaries under Bytedance Ltd. About the Role We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Treasury professional to join our global Treasury team. This role will play a key part in optimizing liquidity across global entities, enhancing investment returns, strengthening liquidity risk frameworks, and innovating treasury operations and payments infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in liquidity risk management, cash forecasting, and treasury technology within a dynamic, high-growth payments or fintech environment. Description 1. Support daily cash positioning and liquidity across global fund networks, ensuring efficient funding and allocation for payment business; 2. Develop and maintain a robust liquidity risk management framework including rules, strategies, and indicators, from both corporate and banking perspectives; 3. Lead initiatives to improve liquidity forecasts, minimize idle cash, and optimize cash yield enhancement; 4. Lead initiatives to develop investment strategy for surplus cash and identify market opportunities in the global market; 5. Manage liquidity data analysis with sound skills and modeling to identify the operational improvement room; 6. Drive, evaluate and implement new payment and treasury technologies to enhance treasury efficiency;
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: 1. 3+ years of experience in financial institutions, leading payment companies or large MNC in treasury and cash management; 2. Sound knowledge and practices in liquidity risk management, cash investment and data driven initiatives; 3. Good mindset of AI, product and system to improve productivity and strong interest in payment and treasury technologies as well as market trends; Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting 2. Demonstrated adaptability and strong logical-analytical skills 3. Self-motivated, with the ability to thrive under pressure 4. Prior experience in the banking or payments industry is strongly preferred
