Responsibilities
Team Introduction Business Office is the strategic team of ByteDance providing support for various business lines with the perspectives of strategy, user research, data science, macro research, etc., helping the business to grow more healthily and steadily at all stages, and becoming the most reliable strategic partner. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2025. Internships at ByteDance aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Internships at Bytedance aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below: Monday, May 12 Monday, May 19 Tuesday May 27 (Memorial Day May 26) Monday, June 9 Monday, June 23 We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Responsibilities: - Partner with product, strategy, and other business partners to identify research topics. - Support the formulation of research hypotheses, the design and implementation of studies; addressing both user behaviour and attitudes, the analysis and synthesis of user experience, and the delivery of actionable insights as well as solutions addressing the research topics along with other user researchers. - Tracking product's progress and identifying problems via tracking user benchmarking metrics periodically, and figuring out ways to ascribe those problems to a cause and fix them. - Share research findings with multi-disciplinary teams & international stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human behaviour related fields (HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Information Science, Economics, Political Science, Behavioral Science, Statistics, etc.) - Experience with survey design and response effects. - Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis using statistical tools (SPSS/R/Python/SQL/or equivalent). Preferred Qualifications: - Display strong interest in and understanding of the monetization space. - Exceptional communicator, having strong communication and presentation skills to present data in an understandable and convincing way. - You have a genuine passion for and ideally good knowledge of user research and human behavior.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $25- $25.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
