About The Real Estate Business Partner (BP) and Communications team is a global team in our Real Estate and Facilities department at ByteDance. The team aims to support key real estate strategies and communications that align with the business unit's work needs, growth objectives and employee experience standards. Our team leverages data-driven insights, industry expertise, and collaborative partnerships to support our company's real estate portfolio and business operations worldwide. Responsibilities: - Evaluate business requirements and potential opportunities, delivering strategic, data-backed real estate recommendations throughout planning cycles. This involves devising and championing solutions that harmonize with both real estate and business unit goals. - Partner with the business units to analyze and interpret real estate and design needs. Co-work with the planning team to realize the business needs to a reasonable extent considering aspects such as space effectiveness, costs, team collaboration, etc. - Provide support to regional teams in developing office relocation strategies, which include pre-move programming and impact assessment on business operations. - Facilitate workplace resources for regional teams in office relocation and optimizing business operations. - Identify and assess emerging business development trends in the workplace, partnering with relevant teams to implement efficient solutions. - Take the lead in organizing and facilitating meetings with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to explore real estate options in alignment with headcount growth and strategic planning. - Manage complex stakeholder relationships, which include collaboration with other CS teams (such as EHS, Food Services, and Physical Security), HR teams, and employees within the supported business area.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - 5+ years of corporate experience in business partnership, real estate management, workplace project management, design strategy, internal communications, or similar roles preferred. - Strong quantitative and qualitative data skills and ability to translate into strategic recommendations. - Well-versed in managing multiple real estate and business initiatives Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience in the Technology, Media, or Entertainment industries, demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique dynamics, trends, and challenges - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. - At least 30% travel (mostly domestic, some international), depending on the requirements of the home office and business units. - Ability to work effectively across various time zones and manage an international portfolio. 【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $93000 - $180000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
