The Role

The Event Marketing Manager owns Built’s end-to-end event strategy and execution. This person is responsible for managing Built’s presence across 40+ industry trade shows annually while also standing up and scaling a proprietary event program designed to drive pipeline, deepen customer relationships, and reinforce Built’s brand as the operating system for real estate finance.

This role requires strong program management, cross-functional leadership, and an ability to operate at high velocity without sacrificing quality. You will work closely with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and Customer teams to ensure events are tightly integrated into Built’s go-to-market motion.

What You’ll Do

Trade Show Strategy & Execution

  • Own planning, execution, and optimization for 40+ trade shows annually across multiple business lines and ICPs.
  • Manage booth strategy, messaging alignment, logistics, and on-site execution.
  • Partner with Sales and BDR teams to drive pre-event promotion, on-site engagement, and post-event follow-up.
  • Ensure consistent brand presence, messaging, and experience across all events.
  • Track and report on performance, including pipeline influenced, meetings booked, and ROI.

Proprietary & Field Events

  • Build and scale Built’s proprietary event strategy (executive dinners, roundtables, roadshows, etc).
  • Develop repeatable playbooks for planning, promotion, execution, and measurement.
  • Manage vendors, venues, budgets, and timelines end-to-end.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the central point of coordination across Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Customer Success for all events.
  • Translate GTM priorities into event strategies that drive real business outcomes.
  • Keep stakeholders aligned, informed, and accountable.

Program Management & Operations

  • Own the annual events calendar, budget management, and forecasting.
  • Develop scalable processes, templates, and systems to support growth.
  • Continuously evaluate what’s working, what’s not, and where to double down.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–7 years of marketing experience, with significant ownership of events or field marketing.
  • Proven experience managing high-volume trade show programs.
  • Strong program and project management skills; you run tight timelines and don’t drop balls.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Executive stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tying events to pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving, evolving environment without constant direction.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for events. Up to 25%.
  • Based in Nashville, TN area.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, real estate, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with sales-led GTM motions and field marketing models.
  • Experience launching or scaling proprietary event programs.

Why Built

  • Events matter here. This role has real ownership and visibility.
  • Direct impact on pipeline, brand, and GTM success.
  • A growing, ambitious marketing team focused on measurable business outcomes.
