The Role
We’re looking for a customer-obsessed Implementation & Account Manager who thrives in fast-moving, high-change environments. This is a hybrid role designed for someone who can onboard and train customers, guide them through product adoption, and serve as a key partner in their ongoing success.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the construction ecosystem — from back-office users like financial controllers to executive decision-makers — to ensure customers get maximum value from our Construction Financials and Construction Payments products.
What You’ll Do
- Own the onboarding experience for new clients, tailoring each implementation to their unique needs, priorities, and goals.
- Serve as a product expert and main point of contact during and after implementation — answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and surfacing bugs or edge cases to the Product team.
- Continuously improve implementation playbooks and tooling, helping scale our onboarding engine as the company grows. Use AI tooling where possible to reduce manual steps, and help customers see value more quickly.
- Partner with Sales during the pre-sales process to understand a client’s workflows and set accurate expectations around onboarding and success.
- Proactively manage account health, tracking usage, identifying blockers, and advocating for your clients internally.
- Collaborate with Support to ensure customer issues are resolved quickly and accurately, while helping define clearer ownership boundaries between teams.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in a SaaS client-facing role (e.g., implementation, customer success, solutions consulting)
- Strong technical aptitude; able to explain complex workflows and debug basic issues
- Exceptional communicator, comfortable presenting to both system users and CFOs
- Self-starter who thrives in early-stage, fast-evolving environments
- Highly organized, process-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with construction finance, payments, or financial software is a big plus
Built’s salary range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000 USD per year. The pay range is designed to accommodate upward mobility in the role, therefore it encompasses the full span of proficiency levels for this role and we believe that the midpoint of the range is competitive in the market. Salary is just one component of Built's total compensation package for employees. Perks:
- The rare opportunity to radically disrupt an industry
- Competitive benefits including: uncapped vacation, health, dental & vision insurance, and 401k
- Robust compensation package including base salary and equity
- Flexible working hours, paid family leave, ERGs & Mentorship opportunities
- Learning grant program to support ongoing professional development
