Job Description

As a Store Revenue Invoicing Manager, you will play a key role in leading invoicing, payment reconciliation, and revenue control operations for both digital and physical stores. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate revenue tracking, timely collections, and scalable processes, while collaborating with internal and external partners to drive efficiency and support financial reporting. You will be reporting to the Head of Customer Finance based in Mumbai and will be functionally working along with the Head of Revenue Invoicing based in Paris.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with digital and physical platforms to ensure timely collection of sales reports and payment information.

  • Lead and oversee revenue reconciliation for digital stores, physical stores, and neighboring rights, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Supervise end-to-end invoicing processes for digital and physical platforms, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal controls.

  • Drive the integration of new stores and platforms into invoicing and revenue monitoring processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

  • Oversee payment matching and reconciliation of received payments against issued invoices, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.

  • Monitor outstanding receivables, lead collection strategies, and drive closure through proactive stakeholder engagement.

  • Own and contribute to monthly financial closing processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy of revenue reporting.

  • Lead initiatives to improve, automate, and redesign internal information systems related to invoicing and revenue tracking.

  • Facilitate aged balance review meetings, define action plans, and ensure follow-through on collection targets.

  • Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators related to invoicing, collections, and cash flow, and drive performance improvements.

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations on accounting treatments, revenue recognition, and process optimization.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Accounting, Legal, and other stakeholders to align on revenue operations and resolve complex issues.

  • Collaborating with other teams of invoicing and revenue specialists, fostering a high-performance and accountable team environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7–9 years of experience in invoicing, revenue reconciliation, and collection processes, preferably in an international environment.

  • Prior experience in overseas stakeholder management, including performance management, and stakeholder alignment ( Plus to have)

  • Strong understanding of invoicing best practices, accounts receivable management, and revenue controls.

  • Previous experience working with digital platforms and media companies is a plus (experience in the music industry is a strong advantage).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements at scale.

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile, and international environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, including senior leadership.
