Job Description
Mission:
The VP of Marketing is accountable for the design, scaling and performance of high-impact marketing initiatives driving measurable artist ROI and long-term value creation for Believe’s artists and labels. We are looking for a marketing expert that is both analytical and product minded with a passion for artist trajectories at different stage of their development.
The role requires a combination of strategic marketing expertise, operational execution at scale, and experience working with marketing analytics, marketing product and marketing data science. Managing a team of marketeers while working closely with other marketing teams, a strong people and cross-functional leadership is essential, all within a fast-moving, evolving environment.
Key responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing
Design scalable, value-driven marketing services delivering artist ROI and artist development:
Identify, size and execute high-impact marketing opportunit
ies with our key DSP partners (e.g. Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, Meta) to support long-term Believe growth and differentiation
Lead experimentation and pilots with Data and Product to turn insights into concrete, deployable growth levers for Believe, artists and labels
Partner with business units (Artist Services, Label & Artist Services and TuneCore) to define specific offers and execute GTM based on value potential
Build and maintain strong senior relationships with key DSP partners
2. Marketing Operations
Ensure best-in-class execution of Marketing services at scale, with a strong focus on efficiency, quality and impact:
Structure and oversee marketing levers to be scalable yet adaptable across territories and business lines, optimizing for performance and resource efficiency
Monitor performance and optimize KPIs linked to both artist ROI and artist development based on different stages of an artist’s trajectory
Work closely with Data and Product to support measurement, automation and scalability
3. Marketing Expertise
Build and scale high-standard Marketing expertise across the Group, both centrally and locally:
Build, with Marketing Insights, a robust marketing intelligence framework (use cases, KPIs, benchmarks…)
Translate expertise into clear playbooks, narratives and GTM materials for both internal teams and clients
4. Team & Cross-functional Leadership
Act as a key leader across the central marketing team and key central stakeholders to drive alignment and execution:
Lead, coach and develop a team of 20+ people across multiple expertise areas (program management, marketing operations, education)
Act as a connector across Product, Data, and Business teams, ensuring Group alignment on Marketing strategy, priorities and execution
Lead change with clarity in contexts of ambiguity and evolving priorities
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, learning and ambition
Qualifications
10+ Years senior experience in strategic marketing and operations, with deep knowledge of DSP ecosystems and digital music growth levers
Strong Business, Product and Data mindset, focused on value creation and ROI
Proven experience designing and scaling complex marketing platforms
Track record of leading cross-functional teams in dynamic environments
Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels
