Job Description
As an editorial & marketing partnership manager you will work with a portfolio of key digital retail partners and help coordinate with our international offices on frontline marketing initiatives for new release schedule and catalogue promotion. You are expected to be efficient in planning priority releases with Digital Music Services, optimizing promotional information that is available and ensuring new releases receive strong coverage and further catalogue visibility. Experience in digital promotion and retail relations across streaming platforms is integral to the role.
- Handle day to day relationships with DSPs - set up communication process and tools
- Develop Japan market share and revenue
- Explore ways to further our catalogue visibility
- Develop strong knowledge on playlisting and on-store promotion strategies
- Develop marketing partnerships with DSPs - imagine, build and deploy innovating marketing campaigns with top retailers (content creation, co-marketing, etc) in coordination with Artist Distribution team
- Reporting and Performances - deliver trade marketing reports to all teams, monitor KPI and analyse performances
- Monitor local market practices - competitive initiatives and local market trends
- International - promote IKRs (International Key Releases) in Japan, bring and coordinate by IKR central team
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience working in the entertainment industry (such as a record label or artist management company), within one or more of the following departments: Digital Business, Marketing, Media Promotion, or Sales
- More than 3 years of marketing experience (technology, services, media, entertainment)
Preferred Qualifications
- Good in reading data and data analysis
- Knowledge of digital ecosystem and passionate about Music
- Ability to multitask, priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, structured and organized priority with excellent time management skills
- A strong interest in the J-POP genre, with at least one favorite artist or musical style they are passionate about
