Job Description
Under the guidance of the Head of Business Controlling, you will lead the “Spreadsheet Deals Factory”, overseeing three persons (As of now, incl. two apprentices).
The Spreadsheet factory team is part of Central Finance, covering all geographies & all business lines. Its missions are:
- review and approve deals through the “Sales Force workflow” by:
- ensuring that deals are compliant
- analyzing risks & profitability
- setting a memo summarizing the deal & providing our recommendations
- provide tools & support to the business assessing deals before submission and before signing
The “Deal analyst senior leader” main missions will be to:
- Animate a team of three analysts focus on deals assessment & review.
- Lead the “Spreadsheet Factory” in charge of tools (the so-called spreadsheet [SP]) enabling the business to assess deals before signing.
- Animate “Spreadsheet Committee” were main change requests related to SP evolution are submitted to the Top management.
- Get a strong expertise on complex deals (incl modelling); animate & train local champions
- Provide support (modelization & advises / recommendations) to business in pre submission phase for significant deals
- Adapt / improve deals review, tools & process with Business lines to reflect strategy & priorities of the Group
Qualifications
Qualifications
With a higher education (such as a business or engineering school, or a postgraduate diploma in management control), you have at least 10 years of experience in controlling, auditing, or consulting.
During your experience, you have acquired the following skills:
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint + Strong analytical
- Excellent writing and communication skills: this job is indeed exposed to Top management through the deal validation process as well as in direct contacts Sales & business teams which implies strong communications skills
- Fluency in English, both oral and written, is required
- Rigor and a pursuit of excellence
- Autonomy and proactivity
- Ability to work on multiple projects and in a changing environment
- Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn
