Job Description
The objective of this role is to bring seniority and structure to the sales team by leveraging the candidate’s existing network to improve our lead sourcing methodologies, identify opportunities, and increase our sales conversion rates. We are looking for an individual that not only has a strong track record leading sales team to reach their targets, but also has had previous experience with CRM tools like Salesforce and managing a P&L, ensuring a strategic approach to team development and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Team Leadership:
- Provide senior-level guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Implement effective methodologies and tools to structure their workflow and optimize performance.
- Establish individual targets within the sales team to ensure each business developer is sourcing properly and has a robust sales pipeline within our focus genres and client classifications.
- P&L Management:
- Ensures alignment with business objectives.
- Develop strategies to maximize revenue opportunities while controlling costs.
- Opportunity Identification and Conversion:
- Evaluate and expand on existing opportunities within the team’s network.
- Map our competition to identify high-potential targets.
- Support the team in converting leads into long-term business relationships.
- Leverage professional network to attract new clients.
- CRM Management & Data Analytics:
- Encourage daily use of Salesforce and Data Dashboards to detect upsells and potential opportunities.
Qualifications
Strong leadership experience, particularly someone that has had previous experience successfully managing and structuring a sales teams to reach their targets.
- Proven track record of managing P&L responsibilities with a strategic mindset.
- Extensive knowledge of CRM such as Salesforce and sales workflows (lead creation, conversion, closing, etc.)
- Highly analytical with the ability to negotiate the best deal for Believe while minimizing risk.
- Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities and implement effective sales methodologies.
- Goal driven and organized: Someone with the ability to ensure each business developer is reaching their weekly, monthly, quarterly signings, leads and opportunities.
- Fluency in english is necessary to apply for the role.
While previous music industry experience is preferred, we are open to candidates from outside the music industry, preferably from other entertainment sectors, bringing fresh perspectives and transferable skills.
