Job Description

The content Operation team is in charge of the ingestion, validation and delivery of all audio content from the artists and labels to the various streaming and download platforms (Youtube, Spotify, Apple, Deezer, Amazon…). The content has to be available on release date, eligible for distribution, optimized to develop the artist audiences, and be delivered following specific DSPs’ standards.

Compliance with the standards and rules specified by the Top DPSs (Apple, Youtube, Meta, Tik Tok and Amazon) is imperative to ensure optimum distribution for artists, enabling them to benefit from competitive advantages and avoiding penalties for Believe.

The Head of Content Operations is responsible for the ingestion and validation stages of the supply chain. He manages the central ingestion and validation teams in France, as well as the Validation team in India.

This role is crucial in enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing internal and external stakeholders/customers satisfaction and aligning content strategy with our business objectives.

The position has 3 areas of responsibilities:

Management of ingestion and validation activities:

  • He/She is responsible for the smooth running of the ingestion and validation stages.
  • He/She ensure that ingestions and validations are carried out in compliance with SLAs and customer contracts and DSPs guidelines.
  • He/She implements the right processes and monitors activities for both central team and
  • He/She is the point of entry for stakeholders (WW sales teams, Support teams, etc.) and handles incoming requests and escalations.
  • He/She puts in place the right tools to manage his activity, the workload plan and anticipate peak workloads.
  • He/she masters the activities of his/her teams and knows how to identify areas for process and tool improvement.
  • He/She must ensure that validations are carried out in compliance with eligibility rules and with the target of maintaining our top status with all DSPs.
  • With the help of the data analyst, set up KPIs and dashboards to manage activities.
  • Use data and analytics to drive decisions, assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.

Team management:

  • Managing a multicultural team of 2+1 direct reports (all scope 25 pers)
  • With the help of his management team, he/she structures the team to optimize performance, productivity and limit costs.
  • With the help of the HR team, he/she implements actions to enhance the skills of his/her team and guarantee team commitment.
  • With the help of the Eligibility Manager, he ensures that his team has the right level of training and mastery of eligibility rules to be able to carry out their mission in compliance with expected standards.

Stakeholder management:

  • Manage relationships and escalations with Sales teams and business unit representatives
  • Manages collaboration with support teams
  • Work closely with the various operations teams to streamline processe
  • Act as business expert and stakeholder for Product and Tech teams.

Qualifications

Hard Skills

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within support team or similar operational department, with strong track record of scaling operational teams.
  • Excellent decision making, strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing a remote offshore team.
  • Previous experience coaching and mentoring other team members to improve their hard and soft skills.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Strong ability to design and deploy processes.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance metrics and make data-driven decisions. Excellent level of excel. Power BI is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in data management and quality control
  • Experience working with the GAFA or BATX is a plus.
  • A first experience implementing AI-based operational process automation is a plus.
  • Fluent in French and English

  • Very good communication skills, in both French & English

  • Flexible, quick to adapt to emergencies or new strategies
  • Capacity to work and deliver in a fast-paced environment
