Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Security Engineer on our Blue Team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our assets and ensuring the integrity of our tech-enabled music group. This position requires a unique blend of expertise in defensive security operations and a proactive, hacker-like mindset to anticipate and mitigate threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance our Active Defenses, using advanced tools and methodologies to monitor, analyze, and respond to potential security threats.
  • Lead proactive threat hunting initiatives to identify and address threats.
  • Respond to security incidents, minimizing impact and coordinating recovery efforts.
  • Participate in purple team exercises to bridge the gap between offensive and defensive security strategies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our security practices and policies, ensuring they align with industry standards and our company’s agile methodology.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, particularly within blue team or a SoC.
  • Strong understanding of networks and systems, endpoint protection, SIEM solutions, and Threat Intelligence.
  • Experience in incident response and handling, with a keen ability to analyze and interpret security logs and alerts.
  • A creative and analytical thinker with a ‘hacker mindset’ who is curious enough exploring the red team domain.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic, agile environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., GIEC, OSCP/E etc.) are highly desirable.
