Job Description
The Central Operations team based in India is looking for a passionate Data Analytics Specialist. The role will be a part of the operations team, which is in charge of the content ingestion, validation, delivery, rights infringement, legal claims etc. of all audio/video content from the artists and labels to the various streaming and download platforms (YouTube, Spotify, Apple, Deezer, Amazon…). The content must be Compliant with the standards and rules specified by the Top DSPs, and it is imperative to ensure optimum distribution for artists, enabling them to benefit from competitive advantages and avoiding penalties for Believe. Data specialist responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis of content delivered, rejected basis the compliance and guidelines, and turn this information into insights for business decisions basis operational performance of the content. They will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. This position will be reporting to the Senior Lead of Operations in India.
The responsibility for the role includes (but not limited to) are:
- Maintaining our top status with Preferred Partnership Program (PPP):
- Perform, each month, sanity checks on DSP scorecards to ensure that they are correct and provide clear demonstrations of any miscalculations to help us contest any errors.
- Facilitate the work of operation teams by implementing monitoring tools and automated data comparisons (for catalogue assessment for example)
- Implements tracking dashboard and controlling tools to assess the content quality in our database and anticipate scorecard results.
- Reporting and analysis:
- Support supply chain teams by performing reporting and analysis of tickets or legal claims received by the DSPs.
- Help us set up a dashboard by BU to support our exchanges with the BUs by highlighting with figures and KPIs recurring problems
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality amongst the team
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in data, accounting or related field
- Proven working experience of at least 3 years as a Data Analyst or specialist
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, Power BI etc)
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Proficient in excel and Power BI is a must.
- Previous experience in Change management (act a facilitator on a day-to-day basis)
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluency in English mandatory, Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Curiosity for the Tech & Media industries
