Aviatrix, a leader in cloud networking and security space is searching for an exceptional Head of Product Security to safeguard our cutting-edge technologies. As the touchstone for product security, you are pivotal in our quest to ensure unsurpassed safety for both Aviatrix and our valued customers.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head of Product Security to lead a small team of Security Engineers to lead our product security initiatives. You'll embody our vision of weaving product security seamlessly into every phase of the software development lifecycle—spotting vulnerabilities long before deployment to foster trust and maintain robustness. Our mission is to deliver and maintain secure products that stand firm in the ever-shifting landscape of cyber threats. This role will allow you to work remote in the United States.

Location: US Remote

Core Responsibilities:

  • CVE Management: Establish and maintain robust practices for monitoring, assessing, and remediating Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) and other security threats. Your proactive approach will ensure our products are safeguarded against known vulnerabilities.
  • Incident response: Develop and maintain incident response plans for product security breaches. Coordinate and lead response efforts during security incidents affecting products. Conduct post-incident analyses and develop improvement plans.
  • Customer & Partner Engagement: Assess and manage security risks associated with third-party vendors and partners. Act as the engineering security liaison to customer-facing teams. Your insights will help respond adeptly to customer inquiries regarding security and compliance, thereby reinforcing our commitment to transparency and trust.
  • SaaS Security Assurance: Evaluate and continuously improve data protection strategies, compliance processes, and security posture, specifically tailored for our SaaS offerings. You'll navigate the unique challenges of cloud security, ensuring Aviatrix stands as a beacon of trust and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience and track record of success in product security leadership roles, with a mastery of industry standard security tech and practices.
  • Proven ability to steward cross-functional teams, seamlessly aligning with Aviatrix's dynamic pace of innovation.
  • Deep understanding of security and compliance requirements within the enterprise sphere, especially among fintech, healthcare, and retail sectors. Your familiarity will guide our tailored security strategies for diverse market needs.
  • Customer Collaboration: Demonstrated experience in responding to RFx and working directly with customers' security teams for assessments. Your knack for clear and constructive communication will bridge Aviatrix solutions with our clients' security expectations.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Encourage and facilitate a culture of proactive security awareness across all teams. Conduct security training and awareness programs for product development teams. By promoting open communication and collective responsibility for security, you'll ensure that every department integrates security best practices into their workflow.

    US Pay Range

    The US annual base salary range for this full-time position is $290,000-$365,000 + benefits + 401(k) match + equity. The pay range is determined by the role, work location, job-related skills, level, experience and relevant education. [Certain roles are eligible to earn sales commission, depending on the terms of the applicable plan.] The range displayed is the minimum and maximum target base salary and is applicable only for new hires for the listed position located in the US. Your total compensation package will be based on job-related knowledge, education, certifications and location, per our aligned ranges.
