ABOUT THE ROLE:

Aviatrix Routing and Solution Testing Team is a small team of QA engineers expanding our presence in Bengaluru. This team plays a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence through rigorous testing and analysis.

We are seeking a motivated Staff QA Engineer to join our Routing and Solution Testing team. The successful candidate will be deeply involved in designing and conducting tests to evaluate the performance and scalability of network products, specifically within cloud environments. This role demands a strong foundation in networking principles, familiarity with public cloud infrastructures, and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.

Location: Aviatrix Systems India Private Limited 02-103, 2nd floor, WeWork Princeville, Embassy Golf Links Business Park Challaghatta, Bengaluru

Work Model: In-Office Preferred (3 days in office)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct performance and scalability tests on new and existing network products.
  • Use open-source tools, including iperf, to measure network metrics and identify bottlenecks.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
  • Collaborate with the engineering teams to refine product designs based on test outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain testing documentation and reports.
  • Stay current with technological developments in cloud networking and performance testing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a networking-focused role, with a strong grasp of network protocols such as BGP.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
  • Proficient in Linux environments and capable of scripting in Python, Shell, or similar languages.
  • Practical knowledge of network performance testing tools such as iperf.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
